A Great Night on the Patio

October 1, 2010

One of the best parts about enjoying time at Redstone American Grill is our luxurious patio. Quaint and comfortable, our patio is the perfect location to enjoy a meal with family or a drink with friends. Heat lamps will keep you warm as the cooler temperatures sneak up on us, but bring a sweater or jacket just to be safe! Here’s what you need to know about the patio at your nearest Redstone location:

  • Eden Prairie has an amazing and massive patio overlooking Lake Idlewild. This location has an amazing custom fountain in the lake designed by the same company that brought the famous Bellagio fountains to Las Vegas! At Eden Prairie, diners can watch the water dance and soar up to 50 feet in the air during their dining experience. At night, the fountains illuminate and change color for extra flair. As long as the weather is nice, Eden Prairie’s patio is open for business! Patio hours of operation are the exact same as the regular restaurant hours, so check the Facebook page or website for times.

  • Marlton’s patio is open year-round, but sometimes closes early due to the weather. If you have any questions, call ahead – the number is on their Facebook page. Marlton offers warming lamps for those especially chilly afternoons and evenings, which never keeps customers away – the patio is often full and bustling throughout autumn!
  • At Minnetonka, the patios are open as long as the weather permits, which generally means April to October. While there is no set date or time when the patio opens, if the weather is nice and guests want to sit outside, they are more than welcome to do so! The Minnetonka patio has several portable gas heaters to keep everyone comfortable in cooler weather, making it a popular destination this time of year!
  • Oakbrook’s patio features a full service bar, two flat screen televisions, four heaters over 20 bar stools, fire pit with seating for 20, nine covered and heated dining tables that can seat 55 guests, and seven high-top tables around the bar that can seat 34 guests, some covered with patio umbrellas.  Weather permitting, Oakbrook provides a DJ on Thursday and Friday nights after 8:30.
  • Plymouth Meeting is famous for its patio! This location won an award in Main Line Magazine for best Al Fresco Dining 2010, and it’s no surprise; the patio is extremely welcoming, with 12 gas heaters to warm tables and an outdoor fire pit with cushioned seating. Travelers staying in nearby hotels rave about the patio throughout the week, and you’ll always find a great crowd on Thursday and Friday evenings. On Saturdays, families love to visit, and Plymouth Meeting welcomes everyone any day of the week! While the patio is open all year long, the patio bar closes around Thanksgiving time when the weather starts dipping below 40 degrees and water and beer lines can freeze. That said, the patio hours are the same as the whole restaurant, which is listed on the Plymouth Meeting Facebook page.

Join us outside for a drink with pals, a meal with your spouse, or brunch with the family! Enjoy conversation with family and friends and warm your body and soul out on our patio. See you soon!
